Child 4: Roger de Mortimer, of Chirk (d 1326)

Roger was one of six knights who was to guide Prince Edward, later to become King Edward II, in military matters. Soon after Edward became king, Roger was appointed as Justiciar of Wales. He married Lucia de Wafre.
