A study of Edward I's conquest of Wales between 1277 and 1283, and his suppression of rebellions during the 1280's and 1290s was made by J E Morris in The Welsh Wars of Edward I (1901). His work was reprinted in a paperback edition by Sutton Publishing in 1998, with a forward by Michael Prestwich of the University of Durham. home back
